From 31st March 2022, Seatedly will be known as Seatlab.
We’ve decided that the time is right to rethink our brand identity. 2020 and 2021 were tough times for the events industry, but thankfully this year is already looking like we’re on course for a strong recovery.
Our new name better reflects our vision for the future and encapsulates our goal of being innovative industry leaders who push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Another reason for the change is to better align ourselves with our sister company, SeatlabNFT. We’re developing a blockchain-based ticketing marketplace that uses NFT technology to improve traceability, reduce the negative impact of ticket scalping and fraud, and reward fans with NFT memories and collectibles.
While our name may be changing, our core business is not. Our ticketing platform will continue to operate as it always has done; none of the services you’ve come to rely on will be affected.
A New Name, A New Look
We’re taking this opportunity to not only change our name but also to update the platform. The rebrand was carried out by brand consultant and founder of Scythos, Jack Waterfield. We’ve been working flat out on version 2.0, which is almost ready to release to our customers. All of the existing features you’re used to will remain unchanged, but there will be a few new ones alongside a brand new and improved ticket scanning application.
We’ll be making an announcement very soon when we’re ready to push V2.0 live.
What’s Next for Seatlab?
Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be finalising our efforts to update our website, platform and marketing material to reflect our new name and vision for the future. We’ll also be launching our modernised platform and new ticket scanning application to kickstart a new era at the company.
We’ll continue to help both new and existing customers take complete control of the ticketing process, putting the power back in the hands of event organisers and venue owners.
FAQs
What will happen to my domain name?
